A few users said they do not like the column heading “freshness”, with custom bbpress plugin, you can change column heading “Freshness” on bbPress forums and bbPress topics, for example, you can change it as “Most Recent” or something else.
Hide / Display Author Name in bbPress Forums Home Page / Forums Archive Page
A few users said they have many sub forums listed on bbPress forums archive page, they hope the bbPress forums home page keep clean and tidy, they do not hope lists author name, author avatar, start by…. and so on in the bbPress forums home page, because it looks too messy. In “Custom bbPress Settings” panel, you will find “Hide Author Name in bbPress Forums Home Page” option box, you can hide / display author informations by one click, it looks like this:

Please note, by default, if you do not setup “Hide Author Name in bbPress Forums Home Page” option box, we will display author name in freshness column.
Option to Display / Hide bbPress Freshness column
A user told us, he want to hide bbPress freshness column, since custom bbpress plugin 1.8.2, you can do this just by one click in customize bbpress settings panel, it looks like this:

As you see, if you select “Yes. Hide Freshness Column” in “Hide Freshness Column on bbPress Forum” option, in front end, customize bbpress plugin will hide the freshness column in bbPress forums, if you select “No, display freshness column on bbpress forum”, customize bbpress plugin will display the freshness column in bbPress forums 🙂
You custom bbPress just via a few clicks on options box in back end
We have added admin menu for the plugin custom bbpress, in backend, you will find “custom bbpress” menu item: if you click “Custom bbPress” menu, you will open Custom bbPress Settings Panel, in Custom bbPress Settings Panel, you will find 5 options:
#1 Remove bbPress Forum Freshness Date and Link
#2 Remove bbPress Author IP
#3 Remove bbPress date from topic and reply
#4 Change cloumn heading “Freshness” on bbPress forum:
