How to Restrict the bbPress Forums for Specific User Roles in the Front-end with bbPress Membership Plugin?

Hi Dear bbPress Membership Plugin Users,

We received a users ticket for bbPress memebrship plugin, she asked:

Hi
I want to restrict the forums for specific user roles in the front-end. For example, i want to restrict them as
FORUM A to be viewed only by Subscribers and Editors
FORUM B to be viewed only by Members
FORUM C to be viewed only by Contributors

I found your plugin and i want to know whether this option is possible in your plugin or not.

I think maybe more users have the same question, I’d like reply it in here publicly:

Yes, we get many users tickets, some of them saying they build support forum for patients, they hope patient’s privacy and personality be respected and be protected, based on their feature requests, our bbPress forum membership plugin can restricts each bbPress forum based on different user roles already. 🙂

How to Restricts bbPress Forums with bbPress Membership Plugin?

It is very easy to restricts bbPress forums with bbPress members only plugin, with a few clicks in two minutes:

#1 Login WordPress back end

#2 Click “bbPress Members Only” menu

#3 Click “Forum Restriction sub menu” item

#4 You will open “bbPress Members Only Forums Setting” panel, it looks like this:

You will find user roles lists, just click one user role’s tab, you will find bbPress forums lists, just checked bbPress forum which you allow be opened by that user role, and click “Submit” button, then in front end, the selected bbPress Forums can be opened to the user role which be assigned with these  bbPress forums.

When Non-members user roles try to open these bbPress forums which did not be assigned to their user roles, then will be redirected to the landing page or register page which you settings in back end 🙂

Also you can restricts bbPress topics and replies to different user roles too 🙂
