Our developer of bbpress login plugin is reading wordpress development document, he found wordpress said they have gave up the function $ wpdb->escape, although this function can works well yet, but it is better to use the new function sanitize_text_field to improve the security of wordpress users.

So our developer checked our codes carefully, finally, he found in bbpress register login plugin, in the bbPress custom style module, we have a code line is using $ wpdb->escape, so he use the new function sanitize_text_field to replace the function escape, that’s why we released bbpress login register plugins 3.0.9 🙂
