Maybe you known, a few year ago, we developed bbpress like plugin based on bbpress login plugin user’s suggestion, bbpress like plugin will add a like button on bbPress topics and replies, bbPress users can like topics and replies via one click, in bbpress like pro plugin version(only $5), we offer more functions like sort topic replies by most liked replies — It is the information overload age, it is the speed reading age, users will not read each replies one by one, you must gain user attention in 10 seconds, so show most valuable replies to users is a good way to let users like and join in your forum. Considerating of this, we developed this plugin “bbPress Most Liked Topics”. When users View forum topic, he will find most liked replies at the top of the topic page, sorted by the number of likes, in each replies, our plugin will show how many people likes the reply, and then an AJAX “like it now” button. If user clicked “like it now” button, the text of the button will be changed to “you liked it”, and the score will +1. By this way, users will always read the most valuable replies first, based on artificial voting by users.
Today, a bbpress user told us, bbpress like plugin should switch to commonly used internet slang, and they give us new labels that should be changed, based on their suggestion, we developed bbpress like free 1.1.9 🙂
